This Orange County, California engagement session in Irvine Regional Park with Danielle and David was so laid back and dreamy!

Danielle found me on Facebook and from our first conversation I knew we were going to get along.  I knew this, because she had also seen an ad where I was basically my complete self so there was really no question about whether or not we shared a similar vibe.  When Danielle told me she was planning a fall wedding in Temecula with her fiance, David I was super excited for the chance to work with them.  Not only that, but they also wanted a laid back engagement session in the trails at sunset for that pretty light we all dream about when it comes to photos.

In the days leading up to Danielle and David’s engagement session, it rained A LOT in LA and Orange County.  It rained so much that we almost rescheduled!  Danielle and I were texting in the days leading up to their session debating on whether or not to call it, until the day finally rolled around and we decided to take a chance.

We planned to meet at one location, only to find that it had been rained out and the trails we planned on wandering were completely flooded and muddy.  We were given an alternate location by a park ranger and Danielle and David were so laid back about it that the change in location didn’t even bother them.  I love laid back couples and they were so relaxed about everything I couldn’t believe it!

We wandered around Irvine Regional Park and found a hill with sunset views, which was exactly what Danielle wanted.  I followed the two of them and gave minimal direction as they just fell into each other every chance they got.  The sky shifted from silver to gold and then lavender, before the sun finally disappeared.  All of the tones from the sky gave Danielle and David a uniquely lit engagement session, full of happy vibes.  It was such a fun, sweet, low key engagement session that by the end of it all I wanted to do was hug them both!  I cannot wait for their winery wedding later this year and I’m so glad to be working with them!
