I couldn’t be happier with this wedding elopement anniversary session in Joshua Tree National Park just outside of Palm Springs, California.

After moving to Southern California in 2012, leaving to travel in 2017, and returning periodically for clients over the last two years, I FINALLY made it to Joshua Tree!  AND I got to photograph a super fun couple while I was there!  I absolutely love couples who step outside of the box to show their own style, edge, and personality and these two NAILED IT!

Aimee and Jack were so fantastic to work with, especially considering the super cold temperatures and unpleasant wind.  By the end of it all I couldn’t even feel my fingers so I don’t know how they got through it without the same layers of clothing I had on.  Then again, anything for the shots, right?!

Aimee was stunning in her vibrant red gown and Jack rocked all black with red suspenders to pop alongside his wifey’s dress.  They danced, snuggled, laughed, and played all before finishing off with a bottle of champagne.  The result is this series of vibrant, dreamy photos on a cold, winter day in Joshua Tree.
