This cozy home portrait session took place in my “studio” in Los Angeles with Ashley and Tyler and we could not be happier with the photos!

Ashley and Tyler found me through a post shared on Instagram by Dancing With Her and I’m so glad they did! If there’s anything I really enjoy about photo sessions, it’s the ones that are simple and stripped down so that the people in front of the camera can really be themselves, without distraction.

There is something to be said for just hanging out in a homey space with your favorite person, snuggling up, while having a photographer capture who you really are.

I especially loved how open and honest Ashley and Tyler were with me during their photo session. We had real conversations about life and issues surrounding the LGBTQ+ community. Ashley was very candid with me about her own experience with coming out and I appreciated it, because I was able to relate to so much of it myself.

Ashley and Tyler were an absolute treat to hang out with and photograph and bonus for me: they’re totally down for chill future hangouts like pizza and game nights! Check out their photo session and swoon over how cute they are together!
